The PearPhone has changed in many ways since its release in 2007/2008. It has been used in many of Dan Schneiders shows in the past and upcoming programmes.
The PearPhone 2G is shaped like the iPhone 3G/3GS. It is the 1st PearPhone to be released and was used in shows such as iCarly and Victorious. It has features and apps such as PearWeather, TheSlap.com, PearMessage and TwitFlash. The PearPhone 2G is probably the longest running PearPhone as it appeared in Season 1 and 2 of iCarly, while it only appeared in Season 1 on Victorious.
The PearPhone GX is the first PearPhone to be pear-shaped. It is an obvious parody of the iPhone 4. According to Freddie in an episode of iCarly, The PearPhone GX is the "Fastest phone since the dawn of tech". Just like the dramatic changes from the iPhone 3GS to iPhone 4, there were dramatic changes to things about the PearPhone
The PearPhone XT is an obvious parody of the iPhone 4S. It has a virtual assistant possibly named Cheri. It has over 100000 apps in the Pear App store. Things were added to PearTunes after the announcement of the Pearphone XT. Everyone who owns a PearPhone XT loves it. It is unknown why, but in iGoodbye, Freddie Benson from iCarly, changed his phone from a PearPhone XT to a Samsun Gemini Max Pad. Copetitor phones were described as windshields of busses.
